    High Street, Ridgmont looking North. A retake of a postcard view dated 1907 (Archive Ref Z1130/95/1) to show changes in Ridgmont. Thatched cottages have been demolished (in 1911). Chimney of house on right (with bow window) has been demolished - remains of stack can be seen on wall of building. Note group of road runners, another example of how area is used for leisure activities.
