- Scope and Content- all freehold estate in Elstow to wife Mary Price for her life and then to eldest son Simon Price for his life and then to my grandchildren Georgiana and Charlotte, daughters of Simon and Ann Price - reciting marriage settlement of son Simon and Ann Hicks and settlement of estate purchased of devisees of Samuel Simpson, which I have occupied ever since; said estate to wife Mary as if such settlement had never been made, and if attempt is made to disturb her possession, then bequest of freehold estate to son Simon and his heirs to be void to wife Mary all household goods etc., and all other moveable articles except my horse and taxed cart, which ... I give to my son Simon well knowing he will be kind to my horse and take good care of him by my marriage I was able to pay off several considerable debts, in consideration of which I further bequeath to my wife £600 to son Simon Price £250 executors to take up a bond of 17 July last for £100 for benefit of my grandaughters Georgiana and Charlotte Price to grandson John Stennett £50 at 21 executors to have leasehold house at Queen Ann Street East, Middlesex, in trust for daughters Georgiana, wife of John Stennet and Caroline, wife of John Harding, and after their deaths to sell, and proceeds to their children; £800 to said daughters to son William Price £500, out of which £100 to be repaid to John Jones brother in law of said William executors - wife Mary Price, who is residuary legatee Richard Wheeler of Cambridge, corn dealer William Roberts of Hemel Hempstead, gentleman witnesses.
