Scope and Content
The properties are cottages on High Street Clapham. The title of three of the cottages can be tracked through the deeds from the sale of 1813 to the 1848 will of John Campion when he leaves his property in Clapham split between his daughters. Three cottages then descend through the family of Mary Scrivener, ne Campion. In 1925 the family buy a further three cottages at auction and the sale particulars relating to this purchase conclude the deed bundle.
As well as the Clapham property the deeds, particularly the probate will of John Campion and the sale particulars include property elsewhere especially in Oakley and Bedford.
