    reciting - will of Henry Marquis of Exeter; mansion house of Burghley and all real estate to trustees to pay annuities and legacies; proved Prerogative Court of Canterbury 1806 reciting conveyance, trustees to Brownlow Marquis of Exeter of said mansion house and real property, subject to certain payments due under said will 28/29 Aug 1816 reciting release by Lady Sophia Cecil to trustees of claim to legacy of £10,000 under said will 7 May 1818 reciting release by Lord Thomas Cecil at request of Brownlow Marquis of Exeter of all charges on said estate, except in the parish of Tinwell (Rutland) 8 May 1824 reciting marriage settlement Brownlow Marquis of Exeter and Isabella Poyntz - Barony of Bedford in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire with court leet and court baron - all other manors, messuages etc., of Brownlow, Marquis of Exeter in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire 7-8 May 1824 reciting appointment of new trustees 27 Sept 1848 reciting conveyance of estate to trustee, to effect that all lands in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire be no longer subject to settlement 28 Sept 1848 reciting will of Brownlow Marquis of Exeter - estates in Middlesex, Bedfordshire, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire to trustees to sell, but estate in Bedfordshire not to be sold during life of William Lord Burghley without his consent; codicil removed this restriction proved Prerogative Court of Canterbury 1 Mar 1867 reciting appointment of new trustees by Isabella, dowager Marchioness of Exeter, for settlement of 1824 17 Dec 1868
