Extract from Will of Edward Chapman of St. John's Bedford, gentleman all estate in Bedford, Kempston and Elstow to trustees, John Trapp and Benjamin Trapp of Bedford, drapers, to pay £30 per annum to Elizabeth Chapman, widow of my late father; £100 per annum to my wife Elizabeth Chapman; to maintain my son Edward Chapman until he is 21, and then he is to have the estate subject to said annuities (see also W3756 ?dated 1808)
