    executors and trustees - my cousins, Jocelyn Brudenell, Earl of Chichester, Samuel Howard Whitbread of 11 Mansfield Street, London, and Lionel Henry Cust of Datchet House, Datchet, Windsor, Berkshire, each of whom is to have £150 to my wife Florence Rose, Countess of Darnley, £1,000 £500 to Clementina Pittuck, governess to my daughter and now private secretary to my wife £100 to my valet George Durrant to each of my domestic servants in my service at the time of my death for 5 years or more, and not under notice to leave, a year's wages £100 per annum confirmed to Charles Herbert Scriven who was my agent at Cobham if my brother Arthur Frederick Pelham Bligh is living at my death up to £3,000 to pay his debts to Messrs. Coutts & Company and up to £400 per annum £100 to my friend Robert Chancellor Nesbit - Petistree Lodge near Wickham Market, Suffolk and other premises comprised in deeds poll of 11 Jun 1900 and 14 Aug 1900 and - Petistree Cottage which I purchased from Mrs. Tice in 1901, to my wife under terms of "the Irish Settlement of 1881" £2,000 per annum to my wife executors and trustees to be vested in the Irish Settlement to raise the following sums - £10,000 for my daughter Honorable Dorothy Violet Peploe, in accordance with her marriage settlement of 28 Feb 1916 Cobham Hall and all my estate in Kent to Earl of Chichester and Samuel Howard Whitbread in trust to raise £7,500 for my son Honorable Noel Gervase Bligh, and all duties payable in respect of my wife's jointure and my daughter's portion and then said Kent estate to my son Esme Ivo Bligh, Lord Clinton and his son Peter Stuart Bligh, and heirs male trustees given powers to manage the estate during lives of my wife, Lord Clifton and Peter Stuart Bligh, for their benefit; if any doubt as to terms of administration to seek guidance from Chancery Court if Lord Clifton execute a Protection Deed he is to have £1,500 trustees to raise £100,000; 1/3 for daughters of Lord Clifton, 1/3 for daughters of Noel Gervase Bligh, and 1/3 for Dorothy Violet Peploe and her children all live and deadstock of Kent property to trustees oil paintings, statuary, plate furniture and china as the trustees think ought to be held with Cobham Hall (heirlooms) in trust to keep them with Cobham Hall China which was kept by my mother in the sitting room now occupied by my wife, plate and plated articles which she shall select, and diamond tiara and pearl necklace worn by my wife to her for life, and then to be heirlooms real and personal estate to trustees, to raise therefrom £12,500 for Noel Gervase Bligh, to be in satisfaction of his marriage settlement, and any debts he owes me at the time of my death to be deducted from his legacies made 5 Jul 1920 codicil: wife to have the use of residence I occupy at time of my death until Petistree Lodge and Petistree Cottage are free for her use 17 Mar 1923 codicil: above bequest repeated, with use of furniture and household effects to my wife such furniture and household effects as she may choose to the value of £1,500 all Lord Clinton's debts to me at the time of my death to be forgiven, provided he execute a protection deed trustees may increase to £500 per annum annuity to my brother Arthur Frederick Pelham Bligh provision to raise £100,000 revoked Kent property and residuary estate to be treated as one, for charges etc., thereon 3 Jul 1923 codicil: all provisions for wife to live at Petistree Lodge revoked, and she is to have my house at Puckle Hill, Cobham, Kent to live in, and use of its contents 19 Jan 1924 codicil: to sister Lady Alice Bligh £100 per annum 21 Jun 1924 codicil: trustees given power to delegate management of Kent estate to Lord Clifton and Peter Stuart Bligh Kent estate charged with £2,000 per annum to wife, if Irish estate is not enough 27 Jul 1925 codicil: legacy to Lieutenant Colonel Noel Gervase Bligh to be £20,000 clear of any sums he may have received during my life 4 Mar 1926 codicil: wife's jointure increased to £2,500 per annum 3 Apr 1926 codicil: wife to have paid all rates on Puckle Hill; up to £250 per annum to maintain the garden; wood and coal to keep it warm 21 Jul 1926 codicil: wife to have my motor cars 13 Aug 1926 codicil: any debts of my son to others to be paid, so that Noel Gervase Bligh start with net sum of £15,000; such extra payments no more than £6,000 27 Sep 1926 codicil: trustees to use all monies received from shares in Kent Coal Companies belonging to late brother Arthur Bligh, to liquidate debts owing to my estate and then to carrying out my brother's will 14 Mar 1927
