Settlement before the marriage of 1) and Emma Whitbread and in consideration of a dowry of £30,000, £20,000 of which in Bank Long Annuities sufficient to obtain £300 per annum, and £3333..6s..8d to be paid to the Honorable St Andrew St John, a younger brother of 1), for his sixth share under the marriage settlement of their father; £3333..6s..8d to be paid similarly to the Honorable Susannah St John, eldest sister of 1); and the rest to be paid to 1).
The remaining £10,000 is to be secured on a bond.
Full discharge of her portion and claims under Samuel Whitbread's settlements of 4 Jul 1758 and 11 Aug 1769.
The Bank Long Annuities of £4800 to provide the £300 per annum have been transferred to 4) in trust for Emma.
The bond for £10,000 to be paid to Matilda, Elizabeth Barbara, and Charlotte and the Honorable George St John
(4 other children entitled under their father's settlement).
