    Hopes she can come for Christmas Day. Elsie went to Halton on Tuesday drove up to house and had sandwiches. Gossip about expected weddings. ‘N Turner was vaccinated as they are going down to Birmingham for C & thought it safer as cases down that way. Her arm was very bad one or two days & had rather a temperature but went up to Tring for the week end with Girlie. W R is at Leicester now I think at a place where Wat Turner was making weight balances I think & Mrs T thought it would be better than being at Tring.’. Trouble with trade Hedges said to be bankrupt. ‘It is only 4 years this Christmas since all the family came down to Turner for Christmas Day to celebrate Girlie’s engagement…’ Eistedfodd next year suppose George will be singing with others. Harold gets on with his music. He has a second hand bicycle good enough to learn on.
