    i ) The King [George V] ii ) Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries as a Commissioner of Woods on behalf of i ) iii ) Walter Pettit, Ducksworth Farm, Stagsden, farmer iii ) agrees to take on lease - farmhouse etc (177 acres 3 roods 21 poles) known as Ducksworth Farm, Stagsden yearly rent - £170 an additional rents as may be agreed usual conditions (many similar to the earlier lease) but including the obligation to keep a field book to show how each field has been cultivated each year, and to cultivate the arable land on the five course system in the last year of the tenancy, and the right of the tenant at the end of the tenancy to take away any perennial plants or fruit plants he has planted on the land signatures Arthur Sutton Gage, a Secretary in the Woods and Forests Office on behalf of the Commissioner, and iii ) witnesses Edward U Brookway, civil servant, Whitehall S Marshall Jonas, Cambridge, Land Agent 11 August 1921 With schedule: property exactly similar to previous lease (ie the same names) but field numbers are different and 2 cottages have been built not far from the farmhouse on the cross roads.
