Thanks for birthday wishes. Richard & Robin to tea, Richard now 12. Relatively quiet Christmas. Several snaps of John, Thyra & Pen from Mr Lennox Boyd who went out to Malaya with party of MPs in the autumn and called to see John. Ike has tried to get him to stress the Malaya situation in the house. Very badly handled by government ‘they just don’t seem to realize the seriousness of the position at all tho they are begin to more now…’
