Went to Royal Caledonian Flower Show in the afternoon and dinner given by the Scots ATA in the hotel. Description of the conduct of the dinner. Ike and Bess at top table. ‘Ike had many compliments on the way he had conducted meetings etc during his year of office…’ Told her neighbour at dinner about John and he said ‘he had sent between 20-30 young students out there in his time & it was great life & rubber was doing well just now…’
