    Surrender of lease: (i) Sir Walter Young of Eastcott, Devon, baronet Sir Winston Churchill of Minterne, Dorset, knight Sir William Drake of Ash, Devon, knight (ii) Richard Hooke in return for a new lease for lives to Sir Walter Young & Sir Winston Churchill; -- a moiety of the rectory of Axminster, Devon; recites that Richard Hooke of Halifax, Yorkshire, D.D., prebendary of Grimdall, York, on 24 Feb 1670/1 leased above to Sir John Drake, deceased, for £17 per annum; it was inherited by his sister Elizabeth, who married Sir John Briscoe of Northamptonshire; recites also marriage settlement 10 July 1684; Elizabeth assigned to (i) above in trust; witnesses.
