Has had black hat of 2 years ago re-blocked & have 6 white yellow & black daisies on it, 2 of each – coat & skirt not a success altogether. Wonders if Molly will buy farm ‘Can’t imagine you leaving Totternhoe’. Has just finished spring cleaning ‘this place takes some doing, there seems no end to it’. Tulips spoiled by the big storm in March. 4 of Joyce’s mistresses to tea ‘they said it was a treat to get into the country away from khaki. One of them saw a Zep in the Easter Holidays – in Norfolk.’
