    Has been killing a pig and busy making raised pork pies. ‘Elsie has succeeded very well, made lard etc not to mention other things which are cooking now, I am very fond of them so is Dad but Elsie and our maid wont look at them.’ Glad she enjoyed Mr & Mrs Bell’s visit. If Georgie is at Bierton and Ike comes to fetch him cant she come to visit? Does not know if Min and Edgar will be coming for Christmas. Tom and Percy went up the show on Wednesday this year. ‘I wonder how Janie Fulks is getting on, it was fortunate for her getting it thanks to you hope she will suit.’ Horace Newman, his wife and three children coming home the "Canada" arrived at 11 o’clock last night so they may have arrived already, they are staying three months. Entertainment went off well a good idea on Miss Turner’s part.
