Emilie Gladys Lind Smith, The Manor House, Potton, spinster (the Henry Smith trustees). 2) Grace Eugenia Smith, The Manor House, Potton, spinster. 3) Percy Malcolm Stewart, 129 Park Lane, London, esq. 4) The Land Settlement Association Ltd, 54 Broadway, Westminster. Reciting that by the will and codicil (of 25 August 1908 and 4 Nove 1910) proved 4 November 1915 (PPR) of Henry Smith (who died 2 September 1915) and the appointments of the trustees specified in first part of first schedule to this deed, property is vested in 1) as trustees for sale. Reciting also that by will of 13 May 1932 and proved on 1 Sept 1933 (PPR) of William Smith (who died on 1 Feb 1900) and Vesting Assent of 2nd part of First Schedule to 2) who is seised of property as tenant for life subject to an annuity of £100 payable under the will, dated 17 June 1874 and proved on 15 January 1877 (PPR) of George Smith, who died on 3 December 1876 during the lifetime of Fanny Elizabeth Smith, daughter of said George Smith. Whereas 1) and 2) have agreed to sell property for £12340 and £8560 to 3) which he wishes to give to 4) for its general purposes and so has requested 1) and 2) to covey property to 4). 3) is Lord of the Manor of Potton Burdetts, Potton Much Manured, Potton Rectoria and Potton Regis and some part of the property were, prior to 1 January 1926 held as copyhold of said Manors. Now in consideration of £12340 and £8560 paid by 3) to 1) and 2) respectively, 1) by direction of 3) conveys and 3) for teh purpose of discharging any compensation in respect of manorial incidents, grants and confirms, to 4) - messuage and farm house and land (as in 1st part of 2nd schedule) known as Home and Cross Roads Farm in Potton and (small part) in Sutton (total 291a 3r 1p). - cottages etc in Potton (as in 1st part of 2nd schedule and shown on annexed map). also 2) at request of 3) conveys and 3) confirms, to 4) - Spencers Farm, Potton (241a 3r 3p) - piece fo land and sand pit at the corner of Bingham's Field, Potton (1a 26p) (as in 2nd part of 2nd schedule and shown on annexed map). 2) agrees to pay annuity of £100. 1) and 2) acknowledge right of 4) to production of deeds as in 1st and 2nd parts of 1st schedule. 1st schedule Part One Deeds of 9 November 1925 and 29 May 1934 being dees of appointment of new trustees of will of Henry Smith.
