    Copy of article in Northampton Mercury 19 January 1793 containing resolution of 32 publicans in support of the government against 'seditious and disaffected persons'. The publicans declared that they would not allow any seditious meetings in their premises and would inform the magistrates of anyone speaking in a way to 'subvert or disturb the Government'.
