Title
Notes on Harrold Hall, built by Francis Farrar on the grounds of Harrold Priory which was dissolved by Henry VIII. Account of the building of the house, 1608-1610. It descended via Farrar's daughter Anne to the Boteler family and was leased out until it was sold in 1702 to Anne Jolliffe of Harrold. It then descended to Sir Richard Alston and remained in the Alston family until at least 1872. The house was demolished in 1961.
