- Scope and ContentWriter's brother [James Harris] is gone to Town to consult Sir W Farquhar, having been ailing for some time. Farquhar is best acquainted with his constitution, so more likely to prescribe beneficially. Writer has the difficult task of composing a letter to Lady Sarah Hobart [who married Frederick John Robinson]. Writer had flattered herself to have paid her compliments by means of Frederick, bit now finds it expedient to address herself immediately to her. Makes further comments. Reference to books. Mr [William] Eliot is going to take a 4th wife, Miss [Susan] Mordaunt.
