Thanks for venison. Comments about a letter received from Frederick relating to Master Betty [child actor William Henry West Betty, known as "the Young Roscius."] and continental politics. Mrs Campbell has another daughter. [Anna Maria Campbell, daughter of John Campbell and Caroline Frances, nee Wyndham]. She will be much hurt when she hears of the death of her youngest brother [Helyer Wyndham] who was in the same regiment with Col. Campbell. He died of an asthmatic complaint he had suffered from since childhood. Writer was surprised to see Reginald Cocks death in the newspaper, as unaware that he had been ill.
