Letter from Henrietta Frances Robinson to Amabel, Countess de Grey. Comments about Lady de Grey’s health. Master George [George Frederick Samuel Robinson] has become by all accounts so robust as to be no longer a source of anxiety.

Writer is recovering from her Pontefract fatigue and feels glad to be at home again. Mr Jerningham, a son of Lord Stafford is staying – he is a young diplomat, intelligent and agreeable. Mr and Lady H Baring are also staying – they are on their way to Scotland next week [Henry Bingham Baring & Lady Augusta Baring]. Mrs Lawrence is better than the writer has seen her for many years; she has got a macaw which she dotes on and takes out daily on her walks as she says it is good for the bird to have air.
