- Scope and ContentPleased that Lady de Grey is to have the Goderich’s with her at Putney. ‘You never mention your great building and architectural works in any of your letters. How are they going on..?’ Papa has been in Pomfret [Pontefract] for the last week with his yeomanry; he returns today. Henry Vyner joined him the day before yesterday and comes home with him. On Monday we have Mr [Henry Bingham Baring] & Lady Augusta Baring and on Thursday Archdeacon [Francis] Wrangham again – there is an engraving of him in the National Portrait Gallery.
