    Wishes for Thomas Turner's safety during journey to shipwreck to recover lost goods sent by John Turner Comments on doctors' confusion over outbreak of Cholera Morbus in London. Entreats Thomas to return home to England. Further discussion regarding circumstances on the loss of the goods send to Thomas Turner which included material for a dress, writing paper, pens, newspapers, foodstuffs, furniture, tools and garden seeds. Failure of the Bedford Chronicle which "...died last week in the first year of its age." Organisation of insurance payments. States he will try to send another box. Mentions future repairs of Oven and Bakehouse in spring at a cost of £50 Mentions reading account of the loss of the "Huntley" led by Captain Hanna, and belonging to Messrs. Cannon & Miller of Liverpool. Weather has been good and Winter has been mild. Outbreak of Cholera Morbus having killed 20 in London and around 1500 in the North of England, comments on the effect of the epidemic on trade and that "...if it is bad it is not made known on the acct. of the harm it does to trade." Politics not worth mentioning, comments that the politicians are all rouges. Urges Thomas to write soon with news of how he is, and whether he gets the amount the lost goods were insured for.
