- Scope and ContentWould be grateful if Lady Lucas would send them some fruit. Last Wednesday had the worst storm that the writer can remember. It has been more temperate since. Last Monday the writer dined at Mr G Cambridges. All the family were well, except Mrs Cambridge, who does not appear at all. Writer supposes she will be at Forthampton about the middle of August, as Mrs Lygon talks of leaving home at that time; thense shall proceed to Castleditch. 'We must all rejoice to see the spirit of the nation daily rising...' 'Mr Carew leaves me at Madresfield [home of the Lygon family] and hastens from thense to Anony for the remainder of Joe's holidays.
