- Scope and ContentWriter has been little in Town, spending most of her time at Hornsea or Hendon. Recently enjoyed an expedition on the river and was in sight of Margate. The weather was calm and warm. Saw frigates and West India men was quite new to the writer. Unable to accept kind invitation as expects the Bishop and Mrs Yorke [James Yorke & Mary] in London soon and would be sorry not to see them. Following that, should the state of affairs allow, brother intends coming to England, which would also keep the writer in London. Has not heard anything of 'poor Karcher'.
