Files shows that S. T. Harvey & Co limited started the works but went into liquidation during the project. V E Parrott (Oakley) limited were contracted to finish off the project. Documents shows S. T. Harvey & Co limited were paid £28,235 before going into liquidation. V E Parrott (Oakley) Ltd were paid £63,009.77 to finish the project. There are valuations in the document for work done by the contractor and sub contractor. Letter from the County architect shows there was excess expenditure of £23,451.81. There is a letter from V E Parrott (Oakley) Ltd detailing what is causing delays in the project and there are meeting minutes detailing how the project is going. Letter near the back of the file explains that S. T. Harvey & Co limited is going into liquidation.
