File contains the contract for the project. The work at the school involved erecting a single storey nursery and partially hearing unit. Contract was signed in 1977 between Bedfordshire County Council and V E Parrott (Oakley) limited. V E Parrott (Oakley) limited were contracted to do the work. With in the file is the bill of quantities and it shows that asbestos was used in the building. Page 1/15 shows that vinyl asbestos tiles were used as an elemental feature and upper floor finish. Abestolux was used in the ceiling. Page 4/9 Abestos felt was used in the roof. Page 4/23 Asbestolux insulation board was used. Page 4/62 shows that Abestos surfaces were painted with emulsion paint. There are 3x plans in the file showing the elevations and site plans for the work. A conditions required by standing orders document is inside the file. At the back there is a standard form of building contract for use with quantities.
