- Scope and ContentWill not be in Cadagon Place when Lady Lucas comes to Town; writer and sister Tryphena leave on Tuesday for Betchworth to visit the Goulburn’s [Henry Goulburn of Betchworth House]. Hope to see Lady Lucas on return to London. Have not yet heard of Col. & Mrs Seymour Bathurst’s arrival in Paris – they have given up thoughts of going through Italy to Naples and from thence to Malta and instead will go to Marseilles and sail from there. [Relates to Thomas Seymour Bathurst and his wife Julia]. William Bathurst has gone to meet them in Paris. [Possibly William Lennox Bathurst, brother of Thomas Seymour Bathurst]
