    Would like to see them. Have sent a parcel of tea and coffee "as there seems a uncertainty of you getting fish while its good". They thank them for their Christmas present - hare, turkey and £5. Sends regards to George, Eliza and Mary Ann. Wants to know if Mr Baker is still alive; is Susan married; and news of all our old neighbours. "I do so hope you will look in your old Bible and tell me my age when you write... I must now tell you wee have got the Queen here and our two houses are full ... I will not complain altho from my heart I wish I was doing better ..." Compliment of the season. Sorry to hear William has lost his son "but of course a daughter makes up the loss"
