- Scope and Content"I have got a situation and i like verry well but it is not with the gentleman as i spoke of wen i was in the countrey as was gowing abroad for i found out that i should be rong if i had. I heard of this place by chance and i hope it will sute verry well. The gentleman took my carricter as it was and did not wish for further inquiry for he thought it verry good. I will when i are setled give you a ferther o count in the next letter when i have heard from you. I should be glad if you will send my box as soon as you can and let me hear how you are. I hope my brother and sister and the famely are all well. There are three maidservants, a coachman, and me as footman and i went to my place this day week and we live well, we have the same at our table as comes from masters - Mr Joseph Lyne, a squire, No. 33 Finsbury Square"
