With regard to the corn 'as the weather has been so atrocious I have decided to sell it privately as it is threshed, as I do not think it would be wise to keep it any length of time in sacks, seeing how much rain has fallen upon it since it was cut. I have commenced threshing today and the sample comes out remarkably well'
