Letter from Jas E Platt to H T Eve. Will decide nothing definite as to how will sell grain 'as everything will depend upon the state of the weather between now and the end of September....harvest about half cut at present and hope to finish cutting by the end of next week, but it is a very slow job. I do hope the weather will take up so that the grain can dry and harden in the stock, and give me a chance of getting it properly threshed out.'
