    Writer's sister [assumed to be Anne Barker] is staying; the Sebrights are to dine to meet her. Francis Barker came yesterday from Tring. They went to walk over Ashridge House. Writer has had too many colds and not yet returned to taking the spa water, but will do so as soon as possible. Dog Fidelle is recovered.
