- Scope and ContentWas at the Falcon Inn, Bletsoe, kept by Robert Bennett, on 30 September, it being Bletsoe Statute [Fair]. In a room upstairs James Branson was drinking gin and water out of a mug. George King, a waiter for Mr Bennett, gave Branson a teaspoon with which to drink the gin and water. After he had finished the liquor he put the jug down and dropped the spoon in his pocket.
