    Went with John Wright to look for poachers who were in the habit of coming into the grounds on Sunday mornings. Caught John Chessum with a gun in a spinney, and when they attempted to get it away from him they were attacked by William and John Albone, who knocked Wright down and all three threatened to kill them.
