    Appoints his wife Mary, and Richard Squire of Langley (Hertfordshire), and Joseph Lucas of Hitchin, brewer, as executors and guardians of his son, Joseph, during minority. Devises the proceeds of the sale of his estate at Newport Pagnell to his wife. Residue to his wife to life, and then to son; failing these, the residue is to pass to his sisters, Elizabeth Butcher, Hannah and Susan Brown, and Elizabeth Gregory, daughter of Elizabeth Butcher, John Butcher, grandson of Elizabeth Butcher, the four children of his late brother John Brown, and the four children of his late brother Richard Marks Brown witnesses: Daniel Brown junior, John Ransom junior, Virtue Ringham 1 June 1808 codicil: Bequests to John Brown, the son of his brother John Brown of Ampthill, and to Ruth and Ann Brown, the latter’s daughters 30 Jul 1808
