    Messuage in Whipsnade formerly in the occupation of Thomas Abbot, then of Benjamin Hogan, and now of Thomas Ashley; 4 pightles known as the Backsides, a close called Southfield next to the said Backsides; a close called Upper Northfield next a spring called Sallow spring; a close called Little Northfield next Southfield, a close called Great Wanwicks next Upper Northfield; a close called Little Wanwicks next Great Wanwicks; 5 acres arable in Middlefield with Pinching Lane, West, being part of land called Crabtree; 2 acres in the same field next the land of William Hogan, South East; also one spring of wood lying between Little Northfield and Southfield; a cottage in Whipsnade in the occupation of John Sheppard; reserving to John Vaux the elder the right of ingress etc. to a pasture called Robert’s Close, next to a close called Cow Pasture or Leys and Long Close.
