    Reference to Alexander's health, which has been discussed with Dr. Fordyce. He does not recommend taking bark. Mention of the weather. Requests Alexander take notice of Richard Adams son when he arrives. Mr Boehmer has undertaken to superintend him, as he did with Alexander. Reference to [Georg Christoph] Lichtenberg, who saw the King at the House on Thursday 'he answers your description exactly.' Lord Stanhope dined yesterday. He hopes soon to return to Geneva. Recess of Parliament until the 26th, but not leaving Town due to the 'backwardness of the season' and to prepare for the summer journey. Parliament is likely to sit until at least the middle of May. Comments about Alexander's course in logic. 'Logic is requisite to direct our conduct more than to discover false reasoning in others...'
