    Writer is 'pure well again.' Writer's Father [Windmill Crompton] came to London yesterday. Dr Fordyce has seen his face and says it looks better than for some time past. Lord Dysart died very soon after his return to England [Lionel Tollemache, 4th Earl of Dysart]. Captain [Robert] Sandilands has lost his second saughter; Mrs Sandilands is with child again. Mention of parliament - 'They really begin to do business in that House when it is time to go to bed.'
