    i) Alfred Richardson ii) Henry Raynes, Biggleswade, gentleman in consideration of £1600 loaned by ii) alone and a further £250 which he has advanced from trust monies under will of John Race, deceased interest – 5% (4½% if paid promptly) i) assigns to ii) - brewery property [as in X501/12] - land and buildings in Post Office Street, Potton - messuage at Biggleswade, together with brewery, as are now in occupation of i) - ‘Golden Lion’ Public House at Biggleswade etc. to be held by ii) subject to deed of charge of even date [X510/12] and as regards the messuage in Biggleswade etc., to a mortgage to secure £5000 and interest, and as regards the messuage at Biggleswade to a mortgage to Frederick Hogg, George Race and Henry Raynes and a deed of further charge to Mr John Elliott Page and Henry Watts, and as to ‘Golden Lion’ to a mortgage to Frank Fowler of Henlow signed: i) endorsed receipt witness: William Race Rayner, solicitor, Potton also endorsed with acknowledgments of rights of production
