    i) Alfred Richardson ii) William Thomas Chapman, Biggleswade, gentleman Simeon Brown, Eyeworth, farmer By decree of Chancery of High Court of Justice made on 3 June 1874 in suit Cooper v Cooper, property hereinafter described was put up for sale (as Lot I) and i) became purchaser for £7400 and paid £740 as deposit to James Robarts, person appointed by Judge to receive same. now in consideration lent by ii) to i) at 4½% interest (4¼% if paid promptly) i) grants to ii) - brewery premises etc., and private house, near Sun Street, Potton, with 2 houses adjoining and ‘Two Brewers’ beerhouse, ‘Cross Keys’ beerhouse, ‘Gardeners' Arms’ beerhouse, ‘Red Lion’ Inn, all in Potton; ‘White Horse’ beerhouse at Blunham and 2 cottages adjoining; ‘Royal Oak’ Public House at Gamlingay, Cambridgeshire; ‘Sun’ Public House at Little Gransden, Cambridgeshire; and Doghouse Paddock etc.; ‘Queen Victoria’ beerhouse at Wrestlingworth etc.; ‘Green Man’ Public House at Steeple Morden, Cambridgeshire etc.; and ‘Plough’ beerhouse at Steeple Morden endorsed receipt witness: William Race rayner 13 Aug 1877 also with list of acknowledgements of right of production of this deed 1888-1894
