ia ) Thomas Hughes, junior, Great Staughton, Huntingdon, gentleman and Mary his wife ib ) Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, living at Louvain, in the principality of Leige, spinster ii ) Thomas Wheeler, Millbook, Bedford, malster LEASE for one year by ( i ) to ( ii ) for 5s, part of a conveyance by Lease and Release, of: ... a messuage or tenement in Amphill late in the possession of Mrs Catlin and now in the occupation of Joseph Foveaux, gentleman with rooms, cellars, vaults and appurtenances ... a messuage or tenement in Ampthill in the possession of John Finley ... the vault and cellar under the messuages or under one of them ... the building call the Malting in the yard near or adjoining the messuages, and the rooms and lofts belonging to the same ... the kiln and stable near the malting and the passage leading to the piece if ground called the Bowling Green and the room and granary over stable ... the pump and well in the garden or piece of ground adjacent the premises ... a right of way through the great yard called the Inn Yard belonging to the Kings Arms to get to the premises ... the right of water form the pump in the Kings Arms Yard ... the right to use the "necessary" looking into the garden of Mr Benjamin Greene deceased ... a seat or pew in Ampthill parish church The Release is to be between the parties as above, and also ( iii ) Elizabeth Foveaux, Ampthill, shopkeeper signed Thomas Hughes, Mary Hughes, Thomas Hughes junior by letter of attorney. witnesses: John Park, John Leach
