Nich left 23 Feb 1925 for his flat, here since 14th June 1924. They all four Elf, NicK baby & Laura came 14th June & also an extra maid. Baby & Laura leave for the flat on 4th March. Baby weighs 26 lbs 8 oz on 26/2/25.' p23 'Winsome's baby boy born 21/4/25 weighed 8 lbs 14 oz. p27 'Cow calved 14 May milk came in 16th May 1st time'. p42 Poor Rufus died suddenly at Glen Lyn. p74 furniture and repairs. p180 May 1926 strike began midnight 3rd May...strike over mid day on 12th May. p187 Ambrose John Alexander Xtened at Mina's 6th June. p189 15th June Baby's birthday 25 to tea...' p193 Kathleen (Elf's maid's) brother drowned 16th July. p207 Gambling party of 16 on 15th Oct (roulette). Nich & Elf went to see Baby in Nursing Home & found him looking very ill 17th Oct. We are all very upset. p208 Went to see baby Ambrose 24th Oct He had lost weight & looked vey ill.' p210 'I fell out of the car & hurt my leg 15/4/25 I saw Stevens for it on 24th April once & Dr Nash on 26th April.
