- Scope and Contenti) Robert Parker, Cardington, baker, and wife Mary Howard, late Mary Howard Eastaff, spinster ii) James Eastaff, Bedford, cooper iii) William Eastaff, Bedford, carpenter (Mary Howard Parker, ii), and iii), are devisees under will of James Eastaff, carpenter, their late father, dated 14 June 1782. Proved (Bedford) 5 October 1782). They hold as tenants in common: - messuage as in X493/16, late in occupation of James Eastaff, deceased, and now of ii) - other messuage adjoining, erected since decease of said James, and now in occupation of iii) - close adjoining, formerly pasture, in occupation of Jonathan Baxter and then Richard Leach but now converted into garden in occupation of Mrs Mowbray part North:. highway from St Peter’s Green to Goldington other part North and East: Mr Benjamin Trapp, devisees of late George Livius, esquire, Peregine Nash, esquire, Dr Thackeray South: Lucks Lane part West: Joseph Okley remaining part West: 6 cottages of ii) and iii) - outhouses, workshops etc., belonging, subject to a right of way of ii) and iii) and occupiers of said cottages, from cottages over land adjoining (part of before described premises) to and from highways leading towards Goldington. They have agreed to partition the premises and each hold a 1/3 and have chosen three people to undertake the partition – Thomas Lilburn of Cardington, gentleman, Richard Leach, Bedford, gentleman, and Joseph Okely of Bedford, gentleman. They will partition the premises and appoint by lot which 1/3 each shall hold in severalty. Award to be made before 1 June 1819, or 1 August at latest. Parties will produce all necessary deeds, abide by the agreement and equally pay all expenses signed: (copy) all witness: (copy) Theed Pearce junior 1 May 1819 with note that referees have extended time in which to make the award to 31 July 1819.
