- Scope and ContentLady Glenorchy came last Saturday. She is very thin and was advised to drink goats milk, but there are no goats left in Scotland, the people having exchanged them for sheep as more profitable. She is therefore drinking mares milk, which is reckoned very nourishing. Brief mention of the possibility of invasion. The writer will invite Mr Page when he arrives at the inn at Kentmore. Weather is fine and the harvest appears to be 3 weeks earlier than usual.
