Lady Marchmont complains of a cold and rheumatism in her head. Writer intends to go to London next Monday, staying till some time in the week following. Obliged for invitation to Southill, but must defer accepting till a more favourable season for travelling. The patriots of the county are burning with zeal for their petition, and leave no stone unturned to get names for it. It has been sent from house to thouse in Colchester and has been signed by a number of weavers, shoemakers, taylors and others who could just write, but not a single name of the least note is among the signatories. The writer does not like the complexion of these general associations.
