- Scope and ContentAfter drinking a little beer at the King's Arms at Girtford, in company with Joe Balls and William Walker they all three walked to Northill , where they had another pint of beer. On coming back through Thorncote, Balls said "there are some fowls here and I won't go home without some". Jeeves said Gillions "never did me any harm and I won't go on his ground". He sat outside while Balls went in, but did not see any fowls when Balls came out. They all three then walked home.
