Deed to Lead the Uses of a Fine, 1 May 1661 i) John Parratt senior, of Milton Ernest, yeoman ii) John Eston junior of Bedford, draper consideration: £9 - part of wood yard of the Dolphin, then distinguished from other part of yard by brick wall, lately erected by ii), containing ½ of yard and 40ft more than ½ North: yard John Eston West: messuage James Goods South: muck yard of Dolphin Inn and free way for ii) for all carts etc. into Stonehouse Lane and free liberty of laying all manner of dung etc. in muck yard 4. Conveyance (lease and release), 4, 5 January 1785 i) William Gery of Bushmead Priory, esquire the Reverend Charles Gery of Grantham, Lincoln, clerk [note in margin: these premises became vested in William Gery and Charles Gery by virtue of a Deed of Settlement in the possession of Mr Gery of Bushmead] ii) Thomas Small of Bedford, plumber and glazier Thomas Ladds of St Neots, Huntingdonshire, draper consideraton: £350 - premises as in 1. to Thomas Ladds in trust for Thomas Small 6. Probate of Will, dated 29 January 1796. proved 6 May 1803, of Thomas Small of Bedford, plumber and glazier to wife Elizabeth, amongst other things, all freehold property in Bedfordshire, subject to payment of £700 to all children living at time of testator's decease, in equal shares on reaching 21 7.
