Letter from Herbert Fenning, Bedford Estate Office to L and C Higgins: Reply to letter of 8 December regarding stove in loosebox which they have turned into harness room. Mr Sturbridge the surveyor has seen stove and says that the roof boards are left close and dangerously near to the iron stove pipe which they have put through roof. Asks them to remedy this because of fire risk. Rough sketch (missing) shows how difficulty may be overcome
