    i) His Grace the Duke of Bedford ii) Representatives of the late George Higgins, esquire leasehold interest of premises coloured blue to be surrendered to i) for £500 i) to grant lease of house and as much garden as remains after widening Embankment and rounding corner for term expiring at same time as Castle House, rent being £15 per annum Site of Militia Depot and ground adjoining Castle Lane to be leased by i) to ii) for term co-terminous with Castle House, rent £5 per annum Lessees of Castle House to surrender as much of southern part of entrance to Castle House as necessary to widen Embankment 10ft i) to rebuild walls and fences If i) wishes to straighten boundary line and widen occupation road, ii) consent to i) providing similar amount of building accommodation in kitchen garden and constructing new entrance to brewery ii) to become tenants of farm yard and buildings with Castle Hill and garden at £25 per annum and to maintain South portion of garden as pleasure grounds and not for growing vegetables signature: Lawrence C Higgins for himself and brother Cecil
