Reference to the life of Bishop Watson, inlcuding mention of a recollection about Disney Fytche. Mr Ward speaks well of writer's grandson Charles. He is fortunate to have Mr Monk at a tutor at Trinity College. Charles is soon to visit the Waddingtons at Bury and then the young folk at Northwold. Writer does not know the name of the Rector of Crudwell. Sorry to hear Lord Hardwicke had been unwell with a bilous disorder. and a bad cough. Great change in Mrs Joseph Yorke's house; Mrs [Catherine] Yorke dresses of a morning and comes down to breakfast, which she has not done for years (the hour being between 11 and 12 for herself and daughter). They dine at 5.30 and all the family go to bed about 11. The health of Mary Ann it was said would suffer by her former habits of being in bed till near 5 and then getting up and coming downto a hasty dinner; possibly her mother may have taken the alarm and indeed is much to be commended for her present exertions on her daughter's account.
